Her Aunt's niece.

This girl is gosh darn photogenic. She's also become Miss Popular at school. Friends call out to her on the street, at ballet class and in the school yard. Boys want to hold her hand. She wants nothing to do with out anyone who isn't interested in Princesses of course, but you get the idea. I looked at Sean the other night playing his D&D online while I was reading a scrapping magazine and thought how on earth did this girl come from two geeks like us? Must be her Aunt Melissa's genes.
Sid and I went shopping with Auntie Melissa today and it was like I wasn't even there. I loved it! Sid just wanted Auntie Melissa to sit next to her, to hold her hand. It was seriously cute!! I love that she has such a great strong female role model in Melissa. And one with great fashion sense! (note new outfit on child in photo).

Design Team Work

This is the work I did for The Scrapping Turtle design team this month. We each got a line of Dream Street paper. It's totally not my colours, but it was fun to play with something new.

Blessings

The challenge from One Little Word this week was the word "blessed". This was a tough challenge for me in the beginning as I'm not traditionally religious. As I thought about it more I decided to take a more reflective approach. A lot of my blessings come from living in Canada, my great family and lovely friends. Sorry to get all Oprah on you!! I feel pretty lucky though. How about you?
